Biblical Usage
Michal was the daughter of Saul and the wife of David. She loved David and became his wife after Saul required a bride price involving the Philistines.
When Saul sought to kill David, Michal helped him escape through a window and deceived Saul’s messengers. Later, Michal criticized David when she saw him dancing before the LORD as the ark was brought into Jerusalem. Scripture records that she had no child to the day of her death.
