Gilgal is the name of several places mentioned in the Old Testament, including the Israelite camp near Jericho after the crossing of Jordan.

The most prominent Gilgal in Joshua was the Israelite camp east of Jericho after the crossing of the Jordan. There Joshua circumcised the children of Israel, kept the Passover, and the manna ceased after they ate the produce of the land.
