Chilion was the son of Elimelech and Naomi and the brother of Mahlon. He went with his family from Bethlehemjudah to Moab during a famine.
Chilion married Orpah, but he died in Moab along with his brother Mahlon. After their deaths, Naomi and Ruth returned to Bethlehem.
